Nicholas " Nick" Thompson

of Evadale, TX, died on Thursday September 15, 2016 at his residence. He was 63.

A service of remembrance will be held on Monday September 19, 2016 at 2:00P.M. at Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle in Evadale. with Reverend Steve McMullen officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch cemetery in Buna.

There will be a gathering of family and friends also on Monday from 12:00P.M. until time of service at Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle.

Nick was born September 1, 1953 in Athens, Greece to parents Tommy and Dolly Thompson. He had lived in Evadale many years and was a Piano Tuner and jack of all trades. He was a Christian and faithful member of Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle of Evadale. Nick never met a stranger and was always ready to share his testimony.' He will be greatly missed.'

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy and Dolly Thompson. He is survived by his daughters, Nichole Thompson of League City, TX, Natalie Thompson of Beaumont, TX, and Janelle Thompson of Beaumont, TX. Son, Nathan Gates of League City, TX, and sister, Peggy Cornelius of Galveston, TX.

Grandchildren are Thomas McLain, Alexzander Mangum, Olive Mangum, and Sylvester Mendoza- Thompson.
