Danny Danford, 79, of Thicket, died Sunday, April 29, 2018, at his residence with his loving wife and family by his side.
A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Encounter Church in Votaw, with Reverend Jason Berry and Reverend Robert Williams, officiating. Interment will follow at Menard Chapel Cemetery in Segno TX.
The family will be receiving friends on Friday, May 4, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. also at Encounter Church of Votaw.
A native of Plantersville, TX he had lived in Thicket, 17 years and was a carpenter. He had faithfully served his country in the U.S Army.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Danford of Thicket; daughter Kimberly Bush and husband Steven of Hardin; grandchildren, Klint Daniel Bush and wife Shayla of Hardin, Kelly Allyne Bush of Denver, CO, great-granddaughter, Avy Lane Bush of Hardin, nieces, Misty Fincher of SC, Kathy Nelson, and Sherry Goodwin, nephews, James Sloane and David Goodwin, and a host of loving friends.
Honoring Mr. Danford as pallbearers are Jerry Don Love, James Sloane, Bill Brown, Larry Thompson, Calvin Sherman, and Marty Loftin.
