Monroe Lafayette Roberts, III

Monroe Lafayette Roberts, III, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 63, in Hull, Texas. Born on April 12, 1961, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Monroe was known for his unwavering love for God, his family, and the many joys of life.

For over four decades, Monroe's heart belonged to his high school sweetheart, Carolyn. Their love story began when they were junior and senior sweethearts, blossoming into a beautiful marriage that lasted 44 wonderful years. Together, they navigated life’s journey, always prioritizing their family and creating cherished memories along the way.

Monroe was the proud owner and operator of Integrated Quality Consultants, Inc., a venture he approached with passion and dedication. His career reflected his commitment to excellence, understanding the importance of integrity in all aspects of life. Yet, it was not just work that filled his days; Monroe found joy in simple pleasures—whether it was spending time with his loyal dog Odie, embarking on hunting and fishing adventures, or cooking delightful meals for friends and loved ones. An avid collector of antique books, he reveled in the stories they held and appreciated the beauty of the past. Road trips with his family were a favored pastime, a chance to explore new places and make lasting memories.  Monroe was a proud Patriot Life Member Benefactor Level of the NRA association.  He devoted a life dedicated to serving God, always demonstrating his deep love for the Lord in his words and actions.

Monroe leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished through his loving family: his devoted wife, Carolyn Roberts; his sons, Monroe Lafayette Roberts IV and wife Rebekah of Liberty, Kyle Daniel Roberts and wife Lacey of Daisetta, and Derek Nathanael Roberts and wife Tyler of Raywood. He was also the proud father of daughters Jessica Ranell Hancock of Hardin, Kristin Amanda Mouton and husband Michael of Raywood, and Kayli Ann Roberts and Robert Knight V of North Royalton, Ohio. Each of his children held a special place in his heart, and he took great pride in guiding and supporting them throughout their lives.

As a grandfather, Monroe’s heart expanded to include Alyssa Michelle Williams, Alexis Danielle Williams, Adeline Marie Hancock, Monroe Lafayette Roberts V, Madison Emma Roberts, Marley Ann Mouton, Karlee Jo Mouton, Elias Daniel Roberts, Lilith Rose Roberts, Sawyer Michael Roberts, Cora Nicole Roberts, and Emery Grace Roberts. He cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren, showering them with love and wisdom, and instilling in them the importance of family and faith.

Monroe is preceded in death by his parents Monroe Lafayette Roberts, Sr. and Lottie Estelle Robertson; siblings Donna Gail Roberts, Monroe Lafayette Roberts, Jr., Roy Anthony Roberts, James Leslie Roberts, Robert Arthur Roberts, and Carol Dean Nugent. Though he has left this world, the impact he made on those who knew him will forever resonate.
