Maureen “Tink” Adams, was born on September 8, 1953, in Galveston, Texas. She passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024, in Batson, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and love.
A proud retired contractor from the oil field industry, Tink was known for her strong work ethic and dedication to her craft. Those who knew her often remarked on her skills not only in her profession but in her personal life as well. A fantastic cook, she delighted family and friends with her culinary talents, often gathering loved ones around her table.
Tink was a woman characterized by her lively personality. Generous to a fault, she was known to feed stray animals and extend kindness to strangers. Her stubbornness was legendary, often described as being "stubborn as a mule," but her warmth and caring nature endeared her to all who crossed her path. While she possessed a vibrant spirit that lit up any gathering, she remained humble and disliked drawing attention to herself.
She leaves behind her devoted soul mate, Nathan Daniel, who was by her side through many of life's journeys. Tink is also survived by her beloved brothers, Bobby Eatherton and his wife Cathy, and Larry Eatherton; her sister, Patricia Harrison; and her cherished children, Trey Daniel and his wife Dana, Michelle Callaway and her husband John, and Jodi Adkins and her husband Clint. Additionally, Tink was a proud grandmother to six grandchildren and a loving great-grandmother to five great-grandchildren. Her family also included numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom will carry her memory forward.
Tink was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Dean Eatherton, and Bernice Violet Belt. The impact she had on her family and friends is immeasurable, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
