Mary Frances Jordan, 79, of Liberty, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at her residence.
She was born June 26, 1939, in Ennis, TX to the late Alvin D. and Mattie Pryor Denny. Mary lived most of her life in the Liberty area where she devoted her life to God and was a devout Christian. She had worked and retired from Lewies where she was a familiar face and made many, many friends.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Lloyd Jordan; son, Bo Jordan; and sister, Etta May Denny-Alexander.
Those left to cherish her memory are; daughters, Donna McCreight of Burleson, TX, and Terry Jordan of Liberty; grandchildren, Dawn Jannise Cote of Daisetta, James Earl Mangum III of Daisetta, Megan Marie Jordan of Hardin, Tara Danielle Jordan of Hardin, Nina McCreight of Burleson, TX, and Amber McCreight of Arlington, TX; great-grandchildren, Baylee, Ellie, and Brielle, and a host of loving friends and family.
A service of remembrance will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Hardin United Pentecostal Church with Reverend Jamie Blume officiating, interment to follow at Guedry Cemetery in Batson. A gathering of Mary's family and friends will be held Friday, December 7, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. also at Hardin United Pentecostal Church.
