Mary Alice Jones Perkins

Mary Alice Jones Perkins, 53, of Hull, died Thursday, January 4, 2018, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

A service of remembrance will be held on Monday January 8, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at The Daisetta, United Pentecostal Church with Reverend Lonnie Jordan and Reverend Brad Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Guedry cemetery in Batson.

Serving as pallbearers are David Scott, Jimmy Harris, Jonathan Jones, Prentiss Youngblood, Benjamin Whittington, and Kasey Shipman.

The family will be receiving friends on Sunday January 7, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at The Daisetta United Pentecostal Church.

A native of Bastrop, Louisiana she had lived in Hull most of her life and was a homemaker. She had also worked at Walmart and Jackson Hewitt Tax company. Mary was a faithful member of The Daisetta United Pentecostal Church.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother Era Simpson. She is survived by her husband, Grover Lee Perkins Jr. of Hull, parents, Reverend & Mrs. James Henry Jones of Dayton. Sons, Christopher Perkins of Hull, and John Perkins and wife Susie of Abilene. Brothers, David Jones and wife Eldora of Dayton, and Joey Jones and wife Heather of Dayton. Sisters, Debbie Harris and husband Jimmy of Gilmer, Naomi Scott and husband David of Gilmer, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
