Mary Ethel Ener, 75, of Rye passed away on March 9, 2025, at home. Mary was born on November 24, 1949, in Silsbee TX to the late John and Margaret Wilson.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents; sister Brenda Fowler; brother John Wilson. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Wilson Ener Sr.; sons Wilson Gearld Ener Jr. and wife Pamela of Rye, Hudie Ener and Kathy Parker of Kountze, Wyley Ener of Rye; sister Linda Freeman of Saratoga; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
Honoring Mrs. Mary as pallbearers are Connie Fregia, Rebeca (Becky) Sangwin, Janelle Freeman, James Sangwin, Raymond (Ray) Fowler, David (Dabo) Freeman. Honorary pallbearers are Anthony Ener, Luke Ener, Jude Ener, Hunter Ener, Jimbo Love, Melvin (Mel) Walters, Landon Ener, Colton Ener, Johnny Walters, Dan Walters, Timmy Walters, and Chucky Ener.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Roadside Memorial Baptist Church. A service of remembrance will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Roadside Memorial Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Nathan Hendrix. Interment to follow at Roadside Cemetery.
