Marshall Theodore McCreight

Marshall Theodore McCreight was born October 2, 1996 in Houston, Texas and passed on Thursday, September 30, 2021, in Austin, Texas two days shy of his 25th birthday. He leaves his faithful, loving mother, April Sherman McCreight and loving, devoted brother, Luke Sharodan McCreight as well as his two devoted canine companions, Arnie and Shadrach. Preceded in death by his loving father, Rex Allen McCreight. Marshall is joining four of his five grandparents, as well as other loving family members and friends. His grandmother Evelyn Layne Sherman and Great Aunt Mary (Inka) Stroud deeply mourn his passing.

Marshall had a zest for living, edgy humor, kindness, and a HUGE heart! Not many people would give a homeless man their shoes and then walk home barefoot without thinking twice about it but Marshall did.

Marshall was a diligent worker and employee who not only helped his father as a ranch hand but was always praised and given accolades at any job he had. He also had a penchant for researching in depth any subject matter he was interested in and was able to gain knowledge far beyond surface level.

In addition to completing his high school education and working on his college education, Marshall loved beauty, style, and aesthetics greatly and implemented those in his life regularly. He had a sensitive palette that could rival that of a Michelin Starred chef and the nose of an established perfumer. Wearing hats was part of Marshall’s great style, so if you feel moved to do that as well please feel free at his services.
