Marques Anthony Sthram, 21, a vibrant soul with a heart of gold, was born on April 29, 2003, in Port Arthur, Texas to Kevin Dwayne Sthram and Jessica Lyn Valma. He passed away on September 20, 2024, in Liberty, Texas, leaving behind a legacy that will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

As a dedicated welder at Strike for two and a half years, Marques embodied the spirit of hard work, approaching his craft with a tenacity that was both admirable and inspiring. Yet, it was not just in his professional life that he shone; his personality was a beacon of kindness and respect. With a silly grin that could brighten the darkest of days, Marques was known for his warm hugs and affectionate greetings, always bringing a touch of love and light wherever he went. His well-mannered demeanor combined with a playful spirit created a unique charm that drew people to him. He treated everyone with dignity, and his genuine interest in helping others made him a cherished friend and confidant.

Marques had an undeniable love for his family, particularly his siblings, and took great joy in nurturing the bond they shared. His two dogs, Hank, and Chanel were adored as if they were his own children, and he often expressed how much happiness they brought into his life. He approached every interaction with a sincerity that revealed his godly nature, often reminding those around him of the importance of love and compassion. Marques always tried to lead others around him to God especially through his TikTok videos.

A fashion enthusiast at heart, Marques always dressed in style, reflecting his vibrant personality and confidence. But more than anything, it was his smile—a radiant expression of joy and warmth—that truly lit up the world around him.

Marques' journey through life may have been brief, yet it was filled with moments that resonated deeply with those he encountered. He leaves behind not just memories, but a profound impact on his community and all who loved him.
