Linda Rae Hebert, 71, of Pasadena, TX passed away at her residence on Monday, September 20, 2021. Mrs. Hebert was born March 10, 1950, in Liberty, TX to the late Albert Ewing and Wilma Rae Folkes. She was a loving wife, mother, MiMi, daughter, sister, and Aunt. Not only did Linda love to cook, she was very active in all her kids activities over the years. From Scout Leader to Band Parent where She was affectionately referred to as "Momma Bear". There wasn't a dress she couldn't make, a craft she would shy away from, or a meal she couldn't prepare. Becoming a chef after completing culinary school was one of her lifelong dreams. Her sweet smile, feisty attitude, and sense of humor followed her throughout her life. To Live in Hearts we Leave Behind is not to die.

Mrs. Hebert is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lovelace John Hebert Jr.; and brother, Terry Ewing Sr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Johnny Hebert, and wife Laura of Hull, TX; daughter, Windy Matherne, and husband, Michael of Dayton, TX; sister, Patricia Thompson of Indiana; grandchildren, Taylor Threet and wife Courtney, Rebekah Hebert, Jonathan White, Marah Hebert, Emmah Hebert, Tommy Matherne, and wife Jenny, and Corey Matherne; nephews, Terry Ewing Jr, Michael Ewing, and wife Monica, and Stephen Thompson; and a host of loving family and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Faith & Family Chapel from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Linda Rae Herbert.
