Lelia Mae Long
Leila Mae Long of Rye, died on Friday August 11, 2017 at The Bradford at Brookside Nursing Home of Livingston. She was 86.
A native of Enloe,TX she had lived in Rye, since 1980 and had retired as an Accounting Clerk. She was preceded in death by her husband Hugh Hollis Long, parents A.B. Sanders and Ella Kempler, daughter, Linesse Ferry, sisters, Ruth Young and Maxine Hammond, and brother, Waymond Sanders.
Survivors are sons, James Long and wife Laurie of Rye, and Larry Long and wife Diana of Conroe.
Daughters, Mickey Cline of Deer Park, Leslie Long of Rye, Lisa Long of Rye, and Jenifer Long of Onalaska. Also numerous grandchildren, great - grandchildren, and great - great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of loving friends.
A service of remembrance will be held on Sunday August 13, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services Inc. with Chaplain Jason Sandefer officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Grove cemetery in Livingston.
Serving as pallbearers are James Long, James Hollis Long, Mike Cline, Matthew Quinn, Zachary James Levi, and Charlie Long.
The family will be receiving friends also on Sunday August 13, 2017 from 1:00 P.M. until time of service at Faith & Family.
