A native of Houston, she had lived in Splendora most of her life. She was preceded in death by her mother Linda McWhorter.
She is survived by her father Charles Mercer of Liberty; sons, Jonathan Mercer of Tomball, and Hunter Presswood of New Caney, and her aunt, Ann Dillon of Splendora.
