Kenneth Andrew Scritchfield 76 of Liberty, died Wednesday February 8, 2017 at Houston Methodist Hospital.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday February 11, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at North Main Baptist Church of Liberty with Reverend Dick Lintelman officiating. There will be a memorial gathering of family and friends also on Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until time of service at North Main Baptist Church.
A native of Tyler,TX he had lived in Liberty since 1998. Kenneth had worked for the Texas Department of Transportation in Houston, as an inspector. He was a member of North Main Baptist Church of Liberty,
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew ' A.J.' Scritchfield and Opal Black Scritchfield, brother, Joe Scritchfield, and Brother - in - Law, Bobby Poorbaugh.
Survivors are wife, Sherry Scritchfield of Liberty; sons, David Scritchfield and wife Judy of Port Neches, and Chris Wiley and wife Dolores of Liberty. Daughters, Teresa Hargroder of Silsbee, and Vicki Guidry of Nederland.
Brother, Duane Scritchfield and wife Becky of Tyler. Sisters, Sue Oldham of Tyler, Becky Ray and husband Terry of Tyler, and Sister-in-Law, Laura Scritchfield of Tyler, and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of loving and caring friends that will miss Kenneth very much.
Granddaughters are Sidni Hargroder, Taylor Casteel, Alex Wiley, Abigail Wiley, and Alivia Wiley.
Great-granddaughter, Caydence Morgan.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are Doug McDaniel, R.N. Smart, Larry Huff, Ricky Poorbaugh, Randy Poorbaugh, and Morris Nelms.
