Joyce Marie Tulley of Daisetta, Texas died on Tuesday, September 05, 2017 at The Arboretum of Winnie. She was 72.
She was born July 29, 1945 to Vernon H. Nichols and Audrey Collins in Liberty. She had lived in Daisetta, most of her life and was retired as a school teacher from Hull-Daisetta Independent School District with 23 years of service. She had also taught for one year at Hardin Jefferson Independent School District. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Liberty.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Stacey Tulley, and parents, Vernon H. Nichols and Audrey Collins. Survivors include her husband of 51 years George Tulley of Daisetta, son, Brian Tulley and wife Deb of Calamus, Iowa. Sisters, Ellen Hooks and husband Wayne of Fulshear, TX Janey and husband Reverend Bill Fabriguze of Hardin, Donna Cain and husband Kerry of Burton, TX and Dorma Faye Smith of Huntington, IN and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of loving friends. Grandchildren are Beth, Anne, Sarah, and Josh.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Friday September 8, 2017 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Liberty.
A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday September 9, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Liberty, with Reverend Bill Fabriguze and Reverend Steve Bean officiating. Interment will follow at Guedry cemetery in Batson.
