Joyce Renee Laird

Joyce Renee Laird of Sour Lake, Texas went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, July 14, 2023, at her home. Renee was born on July 22, 1965, to the late William Copeland of Sour Lake, Texas and Syble Sue Burgess Copeland of Huntington, Texas. Renee was a retired Wal-Mart member, serving, and enjoying her time there with her community.  She was a faithful servant to her Lord, loving her family, and being the best grammy. She loved bingo and going fishing with her loving husband.

Renee is preceded in death by her parents; She is survived by her loving husband, David Laird of Sour Lake, Texas; and sisters, Regina Copeland of Huntington, Texas, Katrina Copeland of Houston, Texas; Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Joanna Brocato, Samantha Coudrain; son, Cody Laird and wife Kelsey, and her seven grandchildren, Austin Welch, Ayden Welch, Addison Brocato, Ryder Laird, Coltyn Laird, Wyatt Coudrain, and Levi Coudrain. She leaves behind many family and friends. She will be sorely missed by all who loved her.

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, 11:00 am at Faith & Family Funeral Chapel with Pastor Mike Brown officiating. Cremation to follow at Haven of Rest crematory in Orange, Texas. A gathering of family and friends will begin on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, from 10:00 am until service time.

Honoring Renee as pallbearers are Ryder Laird, Austin Welch, Ayden Welch, Tim Dinkins, Jimmy Dinkins, and Anthony Dempsey.
