Cotton Harrison, 72, of Daisetta, died Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at Kingwood Medical Center.
Cotton was born on October 8, 1946, in Orange, TX, to Steve Harrison and Reba Gaskey. He lived in Daisetta for most of his life where he was the owner and operator of Kody Petroleum of Daisetta. He also served in the United States Army and was a Deacon for Central Baptist Church of Daisetta.
A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at 2:00 pm at Central Baptist Church of Daisetta with Reverend Lesley Gaines and Reverend Pete Hutchison officiating. Interment will follow at Guedry Cemetery.
A gathering of Cotton's family and friends will be Friday, November 2, 2018, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm also at Central Baptist Church.
Cotton is preceded in death by his parents, Steve Harrison and Reba Gaskey, and a brother, Harold Edwin Canant.
Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 49 years, Pat Harrison of Daisetta; daughter, Teresa Camp and husband Shelby of Thicket; brothers, Joe Harrison and wife Diana of Daisetta, and Tommy Harrison and wife Gaye Nelle of Daisetta; sister, Patricia McCann of Houston; grandchildren, Kody and wife Megan, Jenni, and Madison Camp of Thicket, and also numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of loving and caring friends. Serving as pallbearers are Kody Camp, Payson Melancon, Jacob Cotton, Justin Harrington, Bill Sims, Eric Thaxton. Honorary pallbearers are J.E. McClusky, Vorice Baucum, Kirk Moore, Tommy Harrison, Wayne Sullivan, Denny Howell, Raymond Fregia, Darris Williams, Donald Henson, Paul Goodman, Timmy Brewer, David Bundy, David McClusky, Raymond Sanders, Frankie Norcross.
