John Burch Sr.

John Burch Sr., 63, of Liberty, TX passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. Mr. Burch was born on March 21, 1958, to the late Bay Burch and Violet LaFrance in Liberty, TX. Mr. Burch loved to fish, playing guitar, and piano. He enjoyed 4- wheeling, ping-ping machines, and his music. He also loved his family, grandkids, and pretty much-loved people. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Burch is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Martha Burch Jackson; brothers, James Burch, Jimmy Burch, Aaron Clifton "Cat" Burch, and sisters, Barbara Burch and Edna Burch.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, John Burch; daughter, Alicia Ann Burch and husband David of Liberty, TX; brothers, Lester Burch and wife Sonnie of Liberty, TX, Oscar Burch of Liberty, TX, Dennis Burch and wife Diana of Liberty, TX, Shelton Burch and wife Marla, Loryie Burch and wife Bebe; sisters, Brenda Jackson and husband William of Dayton, TX; grandchildren, Aaron Burch, John David Burch, Alex Paddy, Drew Paddy, Daisy Havener, Desiree Edmonds, Aaliyah Edmonds, Ashton David Mott, Kristina Marie Mott, and Brandon Lee Aaron Mott; great-grandchildren, Ava Paddy, Leila Paddy, Isaiah Brown, Adelynn Burch, Lonnie Burch, Lavendar Burch, and Sherry Burch; and his best friend Alvin Nelton, "Alvo", and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of loving family and friends.

A graveside service of remembrance will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at 2:00 P.M at Guedry Cemetery in Batson, TX with Pastor William Persinger officiating. A gathering of family and friends will also be Wednesday, May 5, 2021, from 11:30 A.M. until 1:30 P.M.

Honoring Mr. Burch as pallbearers will be John David Burch, Aaron Bay Burch, Alex S. Paddy, Evan Andrew Paddy, Randy Eckiss, and Ricky Eckiss. Honorary pallbearers will be David Edmonds and Otis James Smith.
