of Cleveland, Texas died Saturday January 30, 2016 at his residence in Cleveland, with his family by his side. He was 73. A service of remembrance will be held Saturday February 6, 2016 at 11:00AM at Faith & Family Funeral Services with Reverend Woody Sonnier officiating and interment to follow at Felps Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Jerry Alsobrooks, William Anderson, Terrill Booker, Christopher Anderson, Stoney Brawley and James Brawley.
The family will be receiving friends on Friday February 5, 2016 also at Faith & Family Funeral Services from 5:00PM until 8:00PM.
James was born July 28, 1942 in Grayburg, Texas to James McMillan and Sally Walker. He was a lifelong resident of Cleveland and a Heavy Equipment Operator. He loved gardening, riding horses, dancing and riding bulls in his younger years.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Tommie Beth Garison.
He is survived by his wife, Jacquelyn McMillan of Cleveland., step sons, Jerry Alsobrooks of Longview and Amos Alsobrooks of Cleveland., daughters, Tommie Jo McMillan of Fannett, Rannella Jo Wiggley of Fannett, Jolynn Anderson of Cleveland and Joellen Brawley of Cleveland and 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
