James David Hilton, 56, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2019, in Dayton TX. He was born April 23, 1963, to Thelbert Hilton and Betty Brock in Liberty. He worked in the oil field industry for many years. He enjoyed fishing and just being outdoors. David loved his family but was especially fond of his dogs. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Hilton and wife Katlyne of Moss Hill; daughters, Stephanie Rogers and husband Kevin of Dayton, Kristina Ladner and husband Chris of Liberty, Amanda Hilton of Liberty; stepsons, Jessie Fregia of Liberty, Christopher Fregia of Channel View, Ron Welch and wife Robbie of Baytown; brothers, Clarence Hilton and wife Carolyn Hilton of Saratoga, T. lee and wife Carolyn of Saratoga; sister, Rose Davis and husband Tommy of Mississippi; grandchildren, Madison Nugent, Isaac Nugent, Alexander Rogers, Remington Rogers, Landen Ladner, Aubrey Ladner, Gracelynn Hilton, Memphis Hilton, Brandon Hilton, Leela Welch, Ron Welch, Baby Hilton on the way, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.
A service of remembrance will be Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Donald Scott at Monroe-Fregia cemetery in Liberty. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, September 17, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 pm at Faith & Family Funeral Services Inc. 40847 Hwy 105 E Batson, TX. 77519.
