Jack Donall Houghton 82 of Saratoga, died Sunday January 29, 2017 at Christus Dubuis Hospital in Beaumont.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday February 1, 2017 at 10:00A.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services Chapel in Batson, with Reverend Frank Aragon officiating. Interment will follow at Guedry cemetery in Batson.
A native of Morton, TX, he had lived in Saratoga, 34 years and was owner and operator of Super Pak store of Saratoga, and was also a carpenter. Jack loved his family and his store. He also loved his community family of Saratoga, whom he served for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years Johnie Houghton of Saratoga; sons, Mitchell Houghton of Saratoga, and Teryl Houghton and wife Cheryl of Baytown. Daughter, Vickie Tschappatt and husband Jeff of LaPorte.
Grandchildren are Cheryl, Shannon, Kevin, Derrick, Holly, Andrea, Casey, Jennifer, and Abbey. Great grandchildren 13.
