'Jackie' Idell Mitchell Thompson, 94, of Votaw, TX, formerly of Paducah, KY died Thursday at her home. She was a native of Melber, KY, a homemaker, and a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church. She had worked at various retail stores in the Paducah area, and during World War II she was employed at the Fireworks Ammunition Plant in Viola, KY. Survivors include one son, Alan , (Kathy) Thompson, Votaw, TX, one sister, Olita, (Joe) Feiner, Chesterfield, MO., six grandchildren, Robert Seay, Cookeville, TN, Cathy Myers, Paducah, KY, Duane Thompson, Paducah, KY, Elizabeth Graves, Mitchell Thompson & Jackie Thompson all of Webster, TX, six great-grandchildren: Ryan Seay, Emily Seay, Perry Myers, Katy Myers, Taylor Myers, and Elizabeth Thompson, three great-great Grandchildren: Cooper Seay, Kaleb Spears, and Adalyn Spears, several nieces and nephews. . Preceding in death were husband, Melvin C. Thompson of 63 yrs, two daughters, Melva Jo Young and Julia Ann Thompson, parents: Eutra Thomas Mitchell & Clara Burchard Mitchell, two sisters, Vonna Mitchell and Evelene Thompson, two brothers, Sherrill Mitchell and Randall Mitchell Services will be held Monday, March 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Milner & Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Monday after 9:00 a.m.. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
