Hollis Edward "Butch" Edmondson Jr.

Hollis Edward 'Butch' Edmondson Jr. of Hull, died on Wednesday December 7, 2016 at his daughters residence in New Caney. He was 73.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Oakdale Cemetery in Daisetta with Reverend Jeff Stracner officiating.

Hollis was born September 13, 1943 in Memphis, TN, to Hollis Edward Edmondson Sr. and Mary Louise Reese. He lived in Hull for most of his life and was a retired oilfield and iron worker.

Hollis is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Deborah Edmondson.

He is survived by his son, Hollis Edward Edmondson III and wife Connie of Hull, daughters, Carol Doland and husband Bruce of Vidor, Latonya Stracner and husband Jeff of New Caney, Debbie LeNormand and husband William of Hull, Jerri Willis of Daisetta and DeeAnn Ard and husband Kimmie of Hull, A brother, Billy Wayne Edmondson Sr. and wife Judy of Hull. Hollis is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
