Hilda Mae Cheramie of Hardin passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at Magnolia Place Health Care of Liberty. She was 92.
She was born February 10, 1926, in Morgan City, Louisiana to Henry Verret Sr. and Mary Gautreaux. She had lived in Hardin and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Paul Cheramie; son Clyde Jason Cheramie; brothers James Willard Verret, Henry Verret Jr. and sister Veda Leonard.
Survivors are son Jasper ' Boe' Cheramie and wife Nonie of Larose Louisiana; daughter Edwina Koen and husband Mike of Hardin; brother Roland Verret and wife Cleo of Berwick Louisiana; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date at Holy Rosary Catholic Church of Larose, Louisiana. Entombment will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery and Mausoleum of Larose Louisiana.
