Helen Ann Scott, 61, of Raywood, died Saturday April 1, 2017 at Kingwood Medical Center in Kingwood, TX.
A service of remembrance will be held on Tuesday April 4, 2017 at 10:00A.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services Inc. with Reverend Kenneth Hendricks officiating. Interment will follow at Palms Memorial Park in Dayton.
The family will be receiving friends on Monday April 3, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Faith & Family Chapel
Serving as pallbearers are Sam Dunn, Gene Holland, Kevin Holland, James Banning, Gary Wiggins and Kenneth Holland. Honorary pallbearers are Donny Barnett, Charles Scott, Reid Evans, Kyle Fregia, Roger Hufford, Kody Fregia, Cameron Seedner and John Earl Scott.
A native of Fort Hood, Texas she had lived in Raywood most of her life and with her husband was owner and operator of Scott's Country Cookin in Raywood. Helen loved to get together with family and friends. She also loved making her husband banana pudding and enjoyed cooking and feeding her many friends. She also loved her grandbabies picking berries and going fishing.
She was preceded in death by her parents Robert Hollis Turner and Ellen Shelfer. Sister- in- laws, Carol Turner, Shirley Scott, and brother-in-law, John Scott.
Survivors include her husband of 26 lovely years Tony Scott of Raywood; sons, Robert Evans of Raywood, Carlton Heard of Raywood. Daughters, Jana Fregia and husband Tony of Daisetta, and Malindee Seedner and husband Russell of Lemore CA. Brother, Jimmy Turner of Deer Park.
Sisters, Elizabeth Sims of Pittsburg, TX Phonie McAllister of Liberty, Frances Russell of Dayton, and Robbie Barnett of Dayton. Helen is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews great nieces, and great nephews and a host of loving friends.
Grandchildren are Kyle, Hannah, Cameron, Gretchen, Kody, Reid and Holly Ann.
