Harvey Haley Rogers, 85, of Honey Island died on Sunday, November 4, 2018, at Michael E. DeBakey V.A. Medical Center of Houston.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Friday, November 9, 2018, from 6:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M. at Faith & Family Chapel.
A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at 10:00 A.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services, Inc in Batson, with cremation to follow.
Harvey was born September 17, 1933, in Honey Island, to his parents Herman Rogers and Mary Jane Alford. He lived most of his life in Honey Island and was a pipefitter by trade and a U.S. Army veteran.
Harvey is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Brooks Rogers; and sisters, June Williford, James Alma Craft.
Those left to cherish his memory are, wife, Margaret Ann Rogers of Honey Island; daughters, Angela and husband Andrew S. Perez Sr. of Orovada, NV, Eva Wiggins and husband Barney of Segno; sons, Brandon Rogers and wife Jennifer of Texas City, and Trevor Rogers and wife Samantha of Honey Island; grandchildren, Sean, Phillip, and Tristan Stepnik, Jeffrey Wiggins, Byron Wiggins Jr, Brian Wiggins, Britni Dupree, Isabel Rogers, Trace Rogers, Sophia Rogers, Shianne Galuska, Dakota, Neely Rogers, Alister Rogers, 12 great-grandchildren, and a host of loving friends.
