Harold Mark Holland, 60, of Kountze, Texas went to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 surrounded by family at St. Luke"s Hospital in Houston, Texas. Mark was born on Feburary 8, 1962 to the late Harold M. Holland and Dortha Wilson in Bethany, OK. Mark was a retired welder, working independently throughout his career. He was a faithful servant to the Lord with his love of music, especially ministry music. Mark loved his family and was a care giving person, always giving of himself. In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents; son, Matthew Lyle Holland, and brother, Charles "Huey" Holland.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Forrest Holland and wife Ashley of Kountze, Texas, Daniel Fregia of Lumberton, Texas, Wyatt Holland and wife Laurel of Kountze, Texas, Garrett Holland and wife Miranda of Kountze, Texas, Grant Holland and wife Amanda of Kountze, Texas; daughters, Jessica "Candie" Strahan and husband David of Brookeland, Texas, Kelsey Laird and husband Cody of Kountze, Texas; brothers, Benny Holland of College Station, Texas, Vernon Holland and wife Betty of Kountze, Texas; grandchildren, Caleb Strahan, Jacob Strahan, Hudson Strahan, Rylee Holland, Hydee Holland, Baylee Holland, Payton Fregia, Easton Fregia, Karlee Fregia, soon to arrive Brooks Holland, Jedediah Holland, Maisyn Holland, soon to arrive Garrison Holland, Ryder Laird, Coltyn Laird, Emmi Jo Holland, Paislee Warden , also survived by many loving relatives and a host of friends.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022 11:00 am at Faith & Family Chapel with Pastor Dalton Smith officiating. Interment Holland cemetery in Kountze, Texas. A gathering of family and friends will be on Sunday, August 28, 2022 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Faith & Family Chapel.
Honoring Mark as pallbearers are Forrest Holland, Daniel Fregia, Wyatt Holland, Garrett Holland, Grant Holland, and Cody Laird. Honorary pallbearers are Ryder Laird and Jimmy Dinkins.
