Georgie Collins

Georgie Courville Collins, 84, of Saratoga, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday February 9, 2012 in Silsbee. She was born November 26, 1927 in Sunset, La She had lived in Saratoga for the past 50 years and had worked for 25 years as a bookkeeper for Davis Tie Mill that was located in Votaw. She was a faithful Catholic and member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church of Sour Lake.

She is preceded in death by her husband H. D. 'Doug' Collins and her parents Alphonse and Elise Courville.

She is survived by her son, Ronnie Collins of Saratoga; sisters, Theresa Stelly of New Iberia, La; God Child, Lisa Moss of Franklin, LA; grandchildren, Jason Collins of Pineland, Jeff Collins of Sour Lake; great grandchildren, Jackson, Lane and Logan.

Her family will be receiving friends at Faith and Family Funeral Services Chapel on Saturday February 11, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Service. A service of remembrance will be at 1:00 p.m. also Saturday February 11, 2012 at Faith and Family Funeral Services Chapel, with Reverend Alvin Tomlinson officiating interment to follow at Guedry cemetery of Batson.
