George Ray Sirmons

George Ray Sirmons, 70, of Moss Bluff, passed away Thursday September 5, 2013. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Anahuac for the past 12 years and the Elks Lodge # 2019 for many years. He loved fishing, gardening and cooking. He enjoyed his time spent with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, George Washington Sirmons and Lola Estelle Richardson Sirmons; half-brothers, Otis Clark, Floyd Clark and J.W. Clark.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patsy Sirmons of Liberty; sons, Ernie Sirmons and wife Jana of Liberty, Elbert Sirmons and wife Dannette of Winnie and Keith Sirmons of Liberty; grandchildren, Nikki Schneider, Natasha Sirmons, Harper Sirmons and Hunter Sirmons; great grandchild, Avery Schneider; brother, Ernest Sirmons and wife Jon of Matagorda; sisters, Tena Caperton of Three Rivers, CA; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday September 11, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church of Liberty, officiated by Pastor Robert Pitts.
