Eleanor Maxine Pickle Burnett age 97 stepped off Tomball sand on to streets of gold August 28, 2012. Maxine was preceded in death by her husband Ray, her parents, Lola and Floyd Pickle, sister Jewel McNulty.
She is survived by her daughter Dolores Smith, daughter Norma Baughman and husband Ralph (Sonny), grandchildren Ricky Baughman and wife Debbie, Kamie West and husband Jimmy, David Smith and wife Laura, Julie Taylor and husband Andrew, great grandchildren Kristen Verbick husband Bobby, Kelsey Smith, Matthew Baughman, James Baughman, Mark Baughman, Austin Taylor, Tyler West, Hannah Taylor, sister Opal Caldwell of Virginia, niece Madeline Frank of Virginia, niece Judy and husband Bobby Hall of Anahuac.
Maxine was a wonderful Bible teacher. She would say she believed the Bible from the front cover to the last that said 'genuine leather'. She lived her faith completely, leaving a rare heritage for her children and grandchildren which she explained in a last letter describing the seasons of life. Maxine is laid to rest in Guidry Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at Memorial Baptist Church in Baytown Friday, August 31, 2012 at 10:30am.
Maxine's love of fun and endless loving heart will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.
