Edward Glen Collins

Edward Glen Collins, born on January 17, 1955, in Liberty, left this world peacefully on October 31, 2024. His passing is felt deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing him and being touched by his gentle spirit.

Edward was a man of remarkable resilience, known for his dedication to wood crafting the challenge of having only one arm. He took great pride in his creations, particularly his beloved squirrel feeders and wind chimes, which brought joy not only to him but to all who admired his handiwork. Beyond his craft, Edward had an infectious love for country music, where he would often be found dancing with a heart full of joy, embodying a spirit that cherished every moment of life.

Throughout his life, Edward valued the connections he made with others. He found great joy in staying in touch with family and friends through social media, using platforms like Facebook to share love, laughter, and memories. His warmth and kindness were evident in his interactions, and spending time with family and friends was truly his greatest pleasure.

His legacy of love lives on through his cherished family. Edward is survived by his daughter, Melissa Collins. His beloved brother, Michael Collins. He leaves behind a tapestry of love woven through his sisters, Joy Evans, Karen Millsaps, Danielle Johnson, Ashley Williamson, and Bonnie Bozman. Edward's spirit also continues to shine brightly through his grandchildren, Amiya Collins, Krista Semien, and Chantell Semien, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.

Edward joins his beloved wife, Donna Moyer Collins, who preceded him in death, along with his brother, Heath Collins, and his cherished nieces, Makayla Trove and Carolyn Cox. His family's hearts are heavy with loss, but they find solace in the beautiful memories he gifted them and the love that will endure across generations.

In his quiet but vibrant presence, Edward Glen Collins taught us that life’s challenges can be met with creativity and love, and that relationships are the true treasures of our existence. He will be missed beyond measure.
