98 of Liberty, died Wednesday January 6, 2016 at Magnolia Place Health Care LLP in Liberty.
A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday January 9, 2016 at 10:00A.M. at North Main Baptist Church of Liberty, with Reverend Dick Lintelman officiating. Interment will follow at Old Home Cemetery in Center, TX.
The family will be receiving friends also on Saturday January 9, 2016 from 9:00 A.M. until time of service at North Main Baptist Church.
She was born April 12, 1917 in Springhill, LA, to Adolph Ambrose Poissoit and Josephine Vasco. She had lived in Liberty, since 1984 and was a member of North Main Baptist Church. She was retired as a plant worker for Center Plywood Company.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Virgil Emmons, daughter, Beatrice Fleming. Son, Autry Virgil Emmons and one brother and six sisters.
Survivors are daughters Sharon Green and husband Dave of Liberty, and Sherri Graham and husband Roger of Springfield, LA, and numerous grandchildren, great - grandchildren, great - great grandchildren and great -great -great- grandchildren.
