Deloris Pauline Hatcher, 70, of Saratoga died Friday, September 22, 2017, in Splendora, TX with her family by her side

A service of remembrance will be held on Tuesday September 26, 2017 at 10:00A.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services with Reverend Nathan Hendrix and Reverend Gary Paul Criswell officiating. Interment will follow at Guedry cemetery in Batson.

Serving as pallbearers are Thomas Tristan, Everett Doucette, Jeremy Clary, Jessie Doucette Jr. Ben Cochrell and Jay Robert Kilgore. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Wood, Jessie Doucette Sr. and John Alpers.

The family will be receiving friends on Monday September 25, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Faith & Family.

A native and lifelong resident of Saratoga, she had retired from Hardin County Tax Office of Kountze, with 34 years of service. She was also a member of West End Baptist Church of Saratoga.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Harvey Hatcher. Parents, Evert Roy Laird and Nellie Marie McEwin. sisters, Doris Denham and Diane Hammond. Brothers, Delaine Laird and Delbert Laird, and baby Hatcher. Survivors are her sons, Scotty Hatcher and wife Tonya Renee of Shepherd, and Robert Hatcher of Woodville. Daughter, Sharon Patton of Marthaville, LA and numerous grandchildren and nieces, and nephews.
