Connie Muriel Hicks,70, of Daisetta passed away Saturday, October 26, 2019, at her residence. Ms Connie was a retired insurance underwriter for over 40 years. A long time resident of China, she was very active at First Baptist Church of China. Ms Connie loved to travel. Her journeys took her all over the US, Canada, Mexico and Alaska. Ms Connie was a devoted mother to her children and the best nanny to her grandchildren. Truly a faithful servant that will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Ms Connie is preceded in death by her father, Albert Jack Johnson and loving husband of 22 years, Maxie Hicks.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Lillie Muriel Johnson of Hull; son, David Hicks of Lumberton; daughter, Michelle Cooper and husband Josh of China; sister, Terri Flowers of Tarkington; brothers, Al Johnson of Batson, Curtis Johnson and wife Cathy of Daisetta; grandchildren, Aaron Jernigan, Abby Hicks, Joshua Cooper, Kylie Cooper; great granddaughter, Harper Landry, numerous nieces, nephews, family and a host of friends.

A service of remembrance will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Hull, 7207 FM 834, Hull, TX with Reverend Paul Fregia and Reverend Ben Taylor co-officiating. Interment will follow at Guedry cemetery in Batson. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, October 29, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Faith & Family Funeral Services Inc. 40847 Hwy 105 E Batson Tx 77519.

Honoring Ms Connie as pallbearers are Jeremy Johnson, Jerod "Buck" Johnson, Curt Johnson, James Dean Moore, Aaron Jernigan and Joshua Cooper.
