Charles Fred Mehl of Batson, died Thursday October 12, 2017 at Hermann Memorial Hospital of Houston. He was 83.
A native of Parkersburg, West Virginia he had lived in Batson, 37 years and was a retired Pharmacist for St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. He served his country in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ethel Mehl. Survivors are sons, Chris Mehl of Belpre Ohio, and David Mehl of Kountze. Daughters, Becky McCarthy of Kountze and Angela Morgan of Silsbee. Brothers, Leo Mehl of Akron, Ohio and Nello Mehl of Houston. and sister, Susie Pollock of Jerusaleum, Ohio and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
