Carlton Ivan Pritchard, 65, of Hull, Texas passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Magnolia Place in Liberty, Texas. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on July 30, 1958, to the late James David Pritchard and Ellen Lee Davis.
Carlton was a loving and faithful son who made the most out of life despite his hearing disabilities. He embraced life fully and found joy in various interests. Carlton loved fishing, target shooting at Rives Rifle Range where he found immense peace being outdoors. He had a sense of humor and was a big jokester to his friends and family. Carlton loved his family; his aunts played a big part in his life by taking him to rodeos. He was an avid John Wayne fan, and if he could have sat and drank coffee with him, he would have. He loved his nurses and staff at Magnolia Place. Carlton will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by brothers, William David Pritchard and wife Melissa, and Mark Edward Pritchard and wife Rita; nephews, Simon Joshua Pritchard and wife Hannah, and Elijah Shalom Pritchard; niece, Madeline Ellen Pritchard; great-nephew, Theodore Samuel Pritchard; great-niece, Eden Felicity Pritchard; numerous cousins including his cousin who were his caretakers, William LeNormand, and wife Debbie; Aunts, Nellie Walls and Kathy Bishop and husband Donnie; and uncle, Willie Davis, and wife Lanelle.
Serving the family as pallbearers are Mark Pritchard, William E. LeNormand, Chris LeNormand, Kenny LeNormand, Phil Powell, Jason Keel and Daniel Bailey. Honorary pallbearers are Kimmie Ard and Donnie Bishop, and Daniel Bailey.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 11:00 am officiated by Pastor Carlton Bailey at Guedry Cemetery, Batson, Texas.
