Bonnie Jean Stengler

Bonnie Jean Stengler, 86, of Daisetta, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018, with her loving family by her side. She was born September 7, 1932, in Daisetta, TX to the late Columbus J. 'CJ' Fregia and Verna Edgar Fregia.

Mrs. Stengler had lived in Daisetta all her life and retired from Hull-Daisetta ISD after 17 years. She was a devout Christian and a member of Central Baptist Church, she loved to read, bake and cook, spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed Christmas time when she could bake for her family, doctors, and others in the community, her motto was 'If you left my house hungry, it's your own fault.'

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard Stengler; daughter, Linda Gayle McDaniels; and sons-in-law, Gerald Broom, Ray Holder, and Herb McDaniels.

Those left to cherish her memory are sons, David Cooper and wife Sylvia of Wallisville, and Tracy Stengler of Daisetta; daughters, Cheryl Broom and Carol Holder, both of Daisetta; grandchildren, Brandon Broom and Lexi of Dayton, Kameron Holder of Hardin, Joshua Cooper and wife Megan of Beaumont, Kandyce Tousha and husband Jr of Liberty, Dillon Cooper and Anna of Winnie, Garrett Stengler of Daisette, extended granddaughter Sherry Dubose and her children; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A service of remembrance will be Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church in Daisetta with Bro. Grady Hart officiating, interment will follow at Guedry Cemetery. A gathering of Mrs. Stengler's family and friends will be Wednesday, December 12, 2018, beginning at 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. also at Central Baptist Chruch.

Honoring Mrs. Stengler as pallbearers will be Joshua Cooper, Dillon Cooper, Brandon Broom, Kameron Holder, Garrett Stengler, and Jr Tousha.
