Bo Stanley, a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather, departed this life on February 09, 2025, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 65. Born on August 8, 1959, in Saratoga, Texas, Bo was a man with an enduring love for his family and a deep passion for the beauty of the outdoors.
Throughout his life, Bo was known for his adventurous spirit and unyielding dedication to those he cherished. He could often be found enjoying his hobbies of fishing and hunting, where he found solace and joy in nature's embrace. A fond memory of Bo that his family will always treasure is his love for collecting arrowheads, each piece telling a story and reminding him of the history woven into the land he loved so dearly.
Bo dedicated over thirty years of his life to his role as a Project Manager for Altair Strickland, leaving a legacy of hard work and commitment that will not be forgotten. He approached his work with the same passion he displayed in his personal life, always striving for excellence and mentorship.
Those who were blessed to know Bo will remember him as a devoted family man who loved his wife, Donna Marie Stanley of Wiergate, Texas, fiercely. Their bond was the cornerstone of his life, and he took great pride in being the patriarch to a beautiful and growing family. He is survived by his son, Beaux Stanley of Kountze, Texas; daughters Nayome Walters and husband Michael of Kountze, Texas, Amber Thompson and husband Tim of Wiergate, Texas, Patricia Wood of Winnie, Texas, and Tabatha Buck and husband Dustin of Warren, Texas. His love reached beyond the immediate family to his sisters, Betty Nelson of Lufkin, Texas, Barbara Bush and husband Dave of Alazan, Texas, Elizabeth Stanley of Lufkin, Texas, and Jody Bundrick of Lufkin, Texas. Additionally, Bo took immense pride in his role as a grandfather to 19 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, relishing every moment spent with them.
Bo is preceded in death by his parents, Felix Stanley and Hazel Campbell Stanley; his sister, Nelda Block; and his great-granddaughter, Rylie House. Their memories linger on in the hearts of those he leaves behind, serving as a testament to a life well-lived.
