84 of Saratoga, died on Sunday May 31, 2015 at Liberty-Dayton Regional Medical Center.
A service of remembrance will be held on Thursday June 4, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services Chapel with Reverend Frank Aragon and Reverend Martin Nelson officiating.
Interment will follow at Felps cemetery in Thicket.
The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday June 3, 2015 from 5:00P.M. until 9:00P.M. at Faith & Family chapel.
Born in Goose Creek, Texas, she was the 4th of six children. She attended school in Saratoga, graduating in 1947. She married in 1948 to Albert Junior Fountain and then married again in 1951 to Douglas Edwin Sutton.
She had worked in Houston, for Fred Allen Inc. for 27 years as an assembly technician. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sour Lake, until health concerns caused her to move to Magnolia Manor Nursing Facility in Liberty.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 18 years Doug Sutton, her parents James Henry Coward and Germain Duncan. Brother James Henry Coward Jr. Sisters, Elizabeth ' Betty ' Christofferson, Marana Bell Chin and Mildred Schutte.
Sisters in law: Margaret Sutton Riley, Lena Faye Means Coward. Brother in law: W.E. ' Bill ' Sutton and Robert Chin.
Nieces Lisa Gayle Sutton Shrader, Dianne Riley, Cindy Schutte, Ann Schutte Taylor and Wanda Riley Warren. Nephews, Bill Riley and William Eugene ' Jug ' Sutton Jr.
Survivors are son, Wallace Terrell Fountain of Magnolia. Daughter: Billie Williams and husband Burnice of Liberty. Grandson, Shawn Fountain of Denver, CO, Brad Williams of Liberty, and Blake Williams and wife Cyndee of Liberty.
Great-Grandson: Brandon Williams of Liberty. Brother, Al Coward and wife Millie of Norfolk, VA. Sister-in-law: Marian Sutton of Saratoga. Brother-in-law: Herbert Sutton and wife Lin of Thicket, and numerous nieces, nephews, former co-workers and friends.
Serving as pallbearers are Brad Williams, Blake Williams, Wayne Sellers, John Payne, Kris Napier, Thomas Holman and Terry Fountain.
Honarary pallbearers are Burnice Williams, and Hub Sutton.
