Betty Joy Bunch of Saratoga, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont surrounded by her family. She was 85.
Betty was born to Kenneth Geisendorff Sr. and Effie Lena White on May 7, 1933
She was a long- time resident of Saratoga and in her earlier years worked as a telephone operator for South Western Bell. Betty was most proud of being a faithful wife and loving mother. She enjoyed traveling with her husband on business trips. She loved the outdoors, especially going fishing. Betty was a positive person and never had a negative remark on anyone. She was a faithful servant that will be truly missed by all who loved her.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Euwell “Larry” Bunch; daughter, Bobbie Stanley; Brothers, Kenneth Geisendorff Jr. and Albert Geisendorff; sisters, Evelyn Doucet, Laverne Bradley, Helen, Pauline Dippel, and Ruby Hahn.
Betty is survived by her son, Cayson Stanley of Saratoga; daughters, Shelly Bunch of Colorado and Pamela Yancey of Holly Grove TX; grandchildren, Tracie Stanley, Chelsea Seevers, and Jake Yancey; great-grandchildren, Kensley Stanley, and Jaxson Seevers and a host of family and friends.
A service of remembrance will be held on Friday, April 5, 2019, at 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church, Saratoga, with Pastor Frank Aragon officiating. Interment will follow at Guedry Cemetery in Batson.
Serving as pallbearers are Cayson Stanley, Zevin Loftin, Caleb Brown, Paul Davis, Charles Smith, and Trevor Creel.
Honorary pallbearers are Tripplett Warner and James A. Taylor.
Betty’s family will be receiving friends on Thursday, April 4, 2019, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church, Saratoga
