Alaric Lee Duhon

Alaric Lee Duhon 63 of Onalaska, died Saturday July 28, 2012 in Batson, Texas. A native of Jennings, Louisiana he had lived in Onalaska for about fifteen years before coming from Baytown where he had lived most of his life. He was a maintenance engineer with the Brazos Apartments in Huntsville, Texas and a member of the First Assembly of God church of Onalaska. He was preceded in death by his parents Ulysses Duhon and Hilda Dunn Duhon , brother Douglas Duhon. He is survived by his loving wife Ruby Duhon of Onalaska, mother-in-law whom he loved very much Corine Thorson of Batson, Texas. Sons Alaric Duhon Jr of EL Cajon, California, Stanley Hill and wife Anne of Friendswood, Texas. Daughters Sheila Pruett and husband Gary of EL Cajon, California Lola Duhon of EL Cajon, California Sherrie Beaman and husband James of Dayton, Stacy Thomas and husband Albert of Beach City, Texas. Brothers Gerald Duhon of Cleveland, Texas Richard Duhon of Mobile, Alabama Michael Duhon of Baytown, sisters Doris Howell of Baytown, Ella Duhon of Baytown, Nora Brown of Fountain, Florida. 22 grandchildren, 2 Great grandchildren 10 nieces, nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews and a host of friends. A service of remembrance will be held Tuesday July 31, 2012 at 1:00P.M at the First Assembly of God church of Onalaska, with Reverend Josh Poage officiating. A graveside service will be held following the service at 4:00P.M. at the Guedry cemetery in Batson. The family will be receiving friends also on Tuesday July 31, 2012 from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the church. Pallbearers are Stanley Hill, James Beaman, David Pickering, Kenneth Thorson, John Hollifeild and Cameron Furlong.
